Well, hello strangers!
I have decided that its time to revive this blog and breathe new life into my creative processes. Our family made a move to Ohio about a year ago, and to be honest, it was one of the hardest moves yet for me. Considering that we are moving "experts" and this is our 15th home in our almost 18 year marriage, that says a lot.

Moving forward, things have settled into place and I'm really starting to like it here. We are heavily involved in the children's activities and I am making attempts to rekindle my creative fire. Recently, I have signed up for a class called Picture Everyday by Tracey Clark at Big Picture Classes. My hope is that this class will help me to refocus on the beauty and magic of my everyday life while pushing me to see things in a new perspective. This first week focuses on our personal routines. I'll be posting pictures that I take using the daily prompts, and adding the story where I can. Hope you enjoy process as much as I will!

Wake: A View of My Morning

Apple Dumplings
I try to cook something warm and yummy for my husband and children at least 3 times during the weekdays- the other two days they have cereal and toast or frozen waffles. Lol!
These fresh from the oven, hot, chocolate doughnuts are a favorite with the kids! The picture below is what my morning looks like with packing lunches for the family.
What's for lunch?
